In the End.
A curtain call.
An epilogue.
A finale.
A final bow.
No matter how you say it... It's over. It kills me to say it. As first I just wanted it over... Now it horrible that it's over. I wasn't going to cry. I really wasn't. Until Becky came up behind me after the final bow, already crying. Then I cried. I don't think anyone really gets how close we are... I don't think we even get how close we are. But the second that we saw Becky cry, we all cried. Course, Becky would kill me if I went without saying this, it was Becky's older sisters last show with Stage Coach so there was a reason why she cried. As well as the fact that Becky won't do another show until the Summer of her Senior year. Which is... Forever away! While we aren't 10 anymore, and we can actually contact each other now... It really isn't the same. One lady was going on and on to someone (No, not my conversation. I was eavesdropping thank you very much.) about how there is always another show.
But its not this show.
Its another one.
With different people.
With different memories.
Crap... Just thinking about it all I'm crying.
Anywho... on a lighter note... lets talk about the cast party.
Saturday, after our blog writing adventure, we did another show. And then had our cast party. It was pretty awesome. Accept as usual the present giving out took forever. First the would say their name, then take a few minuets and talk about them, then we would clap and cheer and clap and cheer and clap and cheer. Then every now and then for some people we would stand up and clap and cheer some more. It got very tiring. We have a big crew. But Jan got all of the cast members dog tags. I don't think any of us have taken them off. We even wore them with our costumes. Anywho... Back to the cast party. After all of this, Lana (Stage Manager) got up and read this thing she wrote about what happened to everyone after the show, then 2 girls got up and sang a song Lana wrote about all of our set changes. And lastly our Conrad's little brother got up and did an imitation of his brother and at the very end of it he got up too and they did it together and it was amazingly cute. Yep yep. All of this took almost 2 hours. But it really was fun. And they had cookies. We like cookies.
But before this over... you know, the 5 of us is 6. Gosh, Katie R. she was totally made to be one of us. She's amazing. Katie Ray and Katie R. are 2 different people. Try not to get confused.
Oooh! On a happy note, so I can quit crying. Thursday, Amanda, Tiffany and Katie R. are all coming over to make Thespian t-shirts. Sadly Becky and Katie Ray won't be joining us. Why must they live so far away?
So now... Now we are done. It did indeed, take like 2 or 3 days before I actually posted this. My bad. I am seriously performing deprived, and having acting withdrawals. Not to mention my people withdrawal. Its actually really sad how sad I am.

Thats what the little dot over the I is called. You can thank Katie for that lovely piece of information. She, by the way, is sitting on my lap right now. And laughing about it. And so am I and we keep laughing harder and harder. Gosh, I really have to pee. Now we are dying from laughing. See, this is what life is like with us. Gosh I think I am crying. So is Katie come to see. Anywho we need to run. Literally, back to Stage Coach... wohoo! Its like 90 out. We are wearing pants. We're stupid.
Gosh Katie I am going to slap you. Shut up.
Okay, anywho. Crap I can't type... more on this tomorrow.

And it was all thanks to those good old Bye Bye Birdie people. Anyway I almost cried bcuz it was sooooo embarrasing. Well w/e at least I didn't have to keep the hat.
Today is the 19th.
The creepy old guys are coming to get us. =0
Yesterday, our sound guy was hanging out, and we were the only ones there so far so some of us were talking to him. And we said something and laughed at him and he was like "I'm going to come and kill you." And we were like "How?" Then he picked up a chair leg. "With this chair leg... I'm not sure how. But with it." The we made sure it wasn't the 19th. =P
We're so lame.
It's awesome.
Ohhh so last night a whole bunch of people from Katie and my youth group came. We were sorta kinda freaking out and it was soooooooooo awesome. It was out best show yet. Hehe.

In every show.
I just have to have my embarrassing moment. Les Miserables, I was 10, I don't remember what went wrong. Suessical, my hair and dress were embarrassing. I couldn't even do it. Not even for theatre. Anne of Green Gables, the guy who was supposed to spin me around dropped me, when stood up my skirt fell off. =/High School Musical, I fell up the stairs... they were leading up to a 15ft platform, so of course everyone could see. Annie Get Your Gun, I stepped on my skirt and it almost fell off. The others ones aren't worth mentioning... but now. Now. Now.
I have a house entrance. I started running... I fell. =\ It was loud everyone turned around and looked at me. =/ And now my elbow is bruised and swollen. =/

Its tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime!
Shows start again tonight. =D I still feel... well crappy. But its all good. I'm pretty much freaking out about the show, I miss everyone like crazy, you might think its been 2 months rather than 2 days.
Anywho.... About 10 min. ago I relized that I had no bobby socks or leggings to wear under my costume tonight. Well at least clean ones... and we perfer clean one espically considering what they have been through... Hopefully, they will be clean sooner than later... And if they aren't... Then. Oh well. Sorta. =/

I totally didn't post anything yesterday. Its sad. Well lucky for me, I have amazing excuses. You see, I'm horridly sick. Really. Really. Sick. Why does sickness always have such bad timing?

O's
Standing O's to be exact. We've gotten 2 of them now. =] And their awesome.
Now we are on break.... well most people are. I'm crashing at my older sisters for the next 2 days. It's not really a break, Erin I love you to death, but 2 kids, 16 months apart... It tires me out thinking about it. Now I am here staying with her... I'm insane.
Oooo! Wednesday, we get to do a live broadcast on the radio. Like singing. Its very exciting. =D =D =D < Those are my excited faces.
Then after, we are taking sake lunches to the park apparently... To have a picnic (Just Tiffany, Katie, Amanda, and I) because most teenagers have picnics are the park. =/ Then we are going shopping, then we are going Panda Express and then to our show. Its very exciting stuff. We are doing all of this, of course, so that we can walk around in our matching Bye Bye Birdie shirts. Then, everyone will look at them and go "Oh! I want to see that." And then they will, or they will try too, we're almost completely sold out. Like, every single ticket, for every single show. Gone. They were this weekend.
4 down, 6 to go. It's happy... But sad. That means we're almost done. =(

Sold!
Out. Sold out indeed! We sold out last night... and the night before, and we are tonight, and tomorrow. Its pretty much amazing.
Apparently, if you run into walls, it hurts. Sometimes, you even break a toe. Yes indeed, I broke my toe, and ripped off my nail and a bunch of skin. My poor toe, I don't think it likes me anymore. Tiffany loves hearing the story though. She thought it was verrry pleasant.
Now, its show time. =D

On Creepy Old Men...
So yesterday.... Tiffany, Katie, Amanda and I were waiting outside Panera for my mom to come get us. (A severe minus to being under 16... no drivers license, no car. Sad day.) These 2 older guys come up to us (Not like 20 old... like 45+ old.) The first one was like "Are you girls talking about guys?"
Us- "No."
Guy #1- "Their talking about guys, I can tell. Their talking about your legs!"
Us- "Uh......"
#1-" Those legs were made to be a table!"
Guy #2- "Don't sit on me"
Guy #1- *laughs* "We're coming to get you girls on the 19th!!"
It was freaky. Really. Really Really freaky. They were so nice... it was creepy. We are never again waiting outside. Ever.
On another note, opening night was sold out and amazing. I am now freaking out about tonight. I'm excited!

Why can't they dance like we did
What's wrong with Sammy Caine?

Its just starting. I'm so excited... not nervous. Just excited. Very, very excited. Its a great, great feeling. =D So come see it, cause being excited means we put a lot into it, meaning, its really good. Come see it.
As of last night there were 20 tickets left for opening night. Which is tomorrow.

Its a Condition...
...and if there is one thing a doctor can't cure, its a condition.
So... maybe it isn't a condition. But we certainly are all getting sick. Our Conrad (Like Conrad Birdie... as in the star of the show) was out sick yesterday, as well as another girl and I left early sick. I suppose we all saw it coming... it happens every show. Usually if you share as much as we do you get sick... They now tell us not to share...but we don't listen... whatever. Being sick is cool... I guess. As long as it isn't show day... which it will be in 3 days. Highly exciting indeed.
On a completely unrelated note (it really isn't related this time) we have 2 girls coming to stay with us for 4 freaking days. Which is fine I suppose, I don't mind having people stay here... unless they are those 2 girls. I am going to die. Kindly my older sister is adopting me for 2 of the days. The other 2 I have shows so I will have to spend all day in my room getting ready. Sounds like a plan to me.
Anywho... our set is officially done and our pit is complete. (The pit as in, instrumental people.) So with that... our show is completely ready. Which I hate to say... because it could always get better. But really... it is a show. People should come see it.... on Thursday. You should come see it. Buy tickets. Now. Go buy tickets. Now.

4 Days.
With what is hopefully the end of Tech wrapping up, it really is time to count down. We are now in forever going, dress rehearsals. We have call time, and start time. We do make-up and hair. We pretty much look like we just popped out of the 50's. The guys with the Converses and us girls in our Keds. Yeah, its awesome. Only, Keds suck like none other. And they hurt my little toe. =( But my little toe is tough. Hehe.
Did I ever tell you of our vegetable obsession? Well, we have one. I'm serious, we eat carrots faster than we eat chips. However, not faster than we eat cookies, or twizzlers, or Swedish fish. But yeah.

Oh yes, I was reminded how I never spoke of the comfy couch. You see, back in 2004, during Les Mis there was this couch. It was a very comfy couch. Then, when we came back for HSM we were at a different theatre. But now, we are at the normal theatre. With our comfy couch. Which, by the way, we have discussed the TV show "The Big Comfy Couch" on. Actually we discussed almost any shows that we used to watch... it was great.

Tech Week.
Ick. That's all. Ick. It took 9, long, never ending hours to go through the show once. Ick ick ick. And they gave me set changes. I don't like set changes. They make me sad, and I usually forget and get yelled at... this could be a very very bad thing.
That's all I had to say. I just had to keep my vow to update everyday.

And The Count Down Begins...
6 days. 6 days. 6 days. 6 days! 6 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6 days until opening night. Just 6. So so so so so excited. Nothing is better.... 6 days. That's all I can think about. 6 days. It's exciting. Yes, yes, yes.
Sadly, we had today off, so I miss my theatre peoples terribly. Tomorrow we are painting set though... joy joy joy.
I actually rehearsed at rehearsal yesterday, goodness how I regret it. While it was good to be back on stage, really really good, and apparently felt better to the others as well... My ankle is killllling me. But oh well, if it dies, then at least I will have performed my show.
On a completely unrelated not, living in a state that celebrates corn and pumpkins, I would like you all to take note that the corn made it. Its knee high by the 4th of July.
So happy 4th! =)

Directors.
I will admit, I love them. But when they are stressed I begin to wonder... Yes, our show IS amazing. But still, stressed directors are not a pretty sight. Although, when you are in the back watching the rehearsal, its not as bad when the director throws their notes at you. *shrug* We still love her...
Ug... as for late nights. I'm not a fan. We have been getting out before 11 though, which is really, really nice. Sadly, Sunday we have full dress, and tech rehearsal. She doesn't think we will get done until 9:00... Which isn't bad until you consider the fact that we start at 1:00.
Other then this... nothing great has happened at rehearsal, besides me falling on my face and everyone seeing... it was bad. Really bad. If Kyla was in the dictionary, it would be defined as Accident Prone.
And by the way, according to Becky, page 4 is just 2 pages afer page 1. I'm not really sure how that worked out.... but it did.

The Birdie Bunch
The Birdie Bunch
Sung to the tune of, "The Brady Bunch"
There once was a girl, by the name of Carmel. She had some cardboard and carpel tunnel too. She danced and sang, till the night was over, yet she almost died.
There once was a guy by the name of Birdie, who could break dance and was a bad boy too. He was a healthy, almost normal, kind of boy.
The Birdie Bunch, the Birdie Bunch, that's the way we became the Birdie Bunch.
~~~~~~~~~~
Oh yes, its true. We have a song. It doesn't exactly work with the tune.. but you see, we are performers. Our job is to make other peoples music sound good, we don't write the songs. As you can tell I suppose. Its not exactly our forte.
Anywho, yesterday, since I couldn't dance I got to watch the show... Holy cow (Only we have yet to see a holy cow according to Amanda) our show is amazing. I seriously hate when people brag... but really. Our show is amazing. Not our "YEAH!... like yeah" show, although that is amazing as well. Like Bye Bye Birdie. Its amazing.
So yeah, before rehearsal we Tiffany, Amanda, Becky and I went to paint the set. We ended up having this canvas, 30x14 feet to paint. So, for the next 2 1/2 hours we painted this thing white, 2 coats of it in fact. Finally, when it was finished we placed chairs all around it, and wet paint signs. Of course... the first person to walk in looks at the wet paint sign, then moves the chair and walks across it... apparently he thought the wet paint sign was for the couch. The couch?!?!?!?! People these days...
Oooh! Oooh! Oooh! Very exciting stuff, we got done at 10:00 yesterday! It was so freaking amazing! Only then my brother went to the church that we use to rehearse at to get me... we haven't been there in over a month. Sometimes I wonder if he ever pays attention, has eats, or eyes... anywho, enough dissing of thee brother. I didn't get home till 10:45, it was verrrrry sad indeed. But still earlier than usual.
We open in 8 days. Yes 8. I'm so very excited. I think we all are. Cause its awesome. We have full tech starting on Sunday. Which is awesome, but it also means later night... which isn't very awesome. But good enough. I'm just excited.
And the last thing, for now, Deanna decided that she was going to sing "We love you Conrad!" 5,000 times before the show is over. Goodness, shes so insane. But I have joined her... maybe we're all insane... but at least, I'm never bored.
We love you Conrad. Oh yes we do. We love you Conrad. And will be true! When you're not near us. We're blue! Oh, Conrad, we love you... We love you Conrad. Oh yes we do. We love you Conrad. And will be true! When you're not near us. We're blue! Oh, Conrad, we love you... We love you Conrad. Oh yes we do. We love you Conrad. And will be true! When you're not near us. We're blue! Oh, Conrad, we love you...
Sung to the tune of, "The Brady Bunch"
There once was a girl, by the name of Carmel. She had some cardboard and carpel tunnel too. She danced and sang, till the night was over, yet she almost died.
There once was a guy by the name of Birdie, who could break dance and was a bad boy too. He was a healthy, almost normal, kind of boy.
The Birdie Bunch, the Birdie Bunch, that's the way we became the Birdie Bunch.
~~~~~~~~~~
Oh yes, its true. We have a song. It doesn't exactly work with the tune.. but you see, we are performers. Our job is to make other peoples music sound good, we don't write the songs. As you can tell I suppose. Its not exactly our forte.
Anywho, yesterday, since I couldn't dance I got to watch the show... Holy cow (Only we have yet to see a holy cow according to Amanda) our show is amazing. I seriously hate when people brag... but really. Our show is amazing. Not our "YEAH!... like yeah" show, although that is amazing as well. Like Bye Bye Birdie. Its amazing.
So yeah, before rehearsal we Tiffany, Amanda, Becky and I went to paint the set. We ended up having this canvas, 30x14 feet to paint. So, for the next 2 1/2 hours we painted this thing white, 2 coats of it in fact. Finally, when it was finished we placed chairs all around it, and wet paint signs. Of course... the first person to walk in looks at the wet paint sign, then moves the chair and walks across it... apparently he thought the wet paint sign was for the couch. The couch?!?!?!?! People these days...
Oooh! Oooh! Oooh! Very exciting stuff, we got done at 10:00 yesterday! It was so freaking amazing! Only then my brother went to the church that we use to rehearse at to get me... we haven't been there in over a month. Sometimes I wonder if he ever pays attention, has eats, or eyes... anywho, enough dissing of thee brother. I didn't get home till 10:45, it was verrrrry sad indeed. But still earlier than usual.

I Was Once Ten...
...and I swore I would never be like those stupid, clearly brain-less teenages who run across the highway.
Never say never.
I am now, a clearly brain-less teenager who sprints across the highway.
When I was 10, I always said those stupid, clearly brain-less teenagers would get hurt.
I am a clearly brain-less teenager, who, while sprinting across the highway hurts her ankle. Its all swollen and ugly.
Its all in the name of theatre... and milkshakes. We made it there and bakc with 3 milkshakes in 2 minutes. =] Of course, I would never drink a milkshake when I needed to sing. Because, of course, thats horrible for singing. =| Just like we don't drink caffine, or eat chocolate because they expand yuor vocal cords. In fact, we are like little angels. Never doing anything wrong.
So anywho, after Amanda and I got back from our sprint, we walked in the door right where Becky and Tiffany were walking down the stairs. I simply said, "We're back!" And it was like a mini Honesly Sincere. (The scene where we all scream a lot incase you didn't catch that.) Quite intresting indeed.
Other then those to lovely events, rehearsal was quite boring. It took us 2 hours to get the sound system going. Yes, 2 hours. And while they got this going the people with out mics got to sit there and stare. It was quite... boring. Then of course, we aren't allowed in the house anymore (House- the seats, where you sit to watch the show) so we have to be down stairs, since the upstairs isn't big enough. Well, our monitor wasn't working, so we coundn't here. What it comes down to is that we were late for some scenes... and Jan wasn't to pleased.
Oh yes... I don't feel like ending here, so I shall bore you some more. =D Being musical theatre geeks like we are, break is like a mini musical itself, yesterday, Tom (Who just got back from Canada) started playing Sara Bareilles, Love Song. It was quite amazing. Sort of like when we sing Happy Birthday (Which we did yesterday, Happy Birtiday Scott!) it was quite amazing, you don't often hear Happy Birthday sung in 4 parts. Its awesome.
Alright, I'm done boring you now. I am off to paint some sets... woohoo.
Never say never.
